Prize Draw Info for Members Whose Agent Has Closed

Unfortunately, as a result of the general lockdown of non-essential business currently, some lottery agents such as pubs and shops have temporarily closed and of course the club offices themselves are also shut. We have received a number of messages and queries from lottery members wondering what they should do when their usual agent is closed. We can provide the following additional options if you are in this position and wish to continue with the lottery during the lockdown period:

 - It is possible to enter the lottery online through the Online Club Shop on this website. Whilst we are delighted to welcome new members online at all times, on a temporary basis we will also accept payments from existing members in this manner. Any member who wishes to pay online should just complete a purchase through the Online Shop and we will check their name and address against our existing list of members and mark it as paid accordingly. If you are also a member of the Deluxe Draw please pay for double the number of weeks you intend to pay for to cover the additional payment for that as it is not normally possible to enter the Deluxe Draw online. So if you are an ordinary member and wish to pay for 4 weeks then select 4 weeks but if you are a Deluxe Draw member and wish to pay for 4 weeks, select 8 weeks to make the payment £8.

 - On the Prize Draw section of this website there is a downloadable standing entry form. If you wish to convert to a standing order on either a temporary or permanent basis you should download this form, complete it and post it off to Queen of the South FC, Palmerston Park, Terregles Street, Dumfries DG2 9BA together with a note of your existing number or your name and address if you don't know the number and we will organise submitting this to your bank. Please be aware however that there will be an inevitable delay in this method as we do not collect post daily and it also has to be processed both at our end and by your bank. Please also take care to complete the form correctly as any error will result in the bank returning the form.

 - It is also of course possible to simply post a cheque to the club for as many weeks as you wish to pay in advance at the same address as above. Again, please enclose a note of your name and address and membership number if you know it.

 - You could also make a direct transfer to the Lottery bank account using online banking if that is easier. The bank account number and sort code can be found on the same downloadable entry form in the prize draw section of this website. However, please also email [email protected] if doing this so that we can check the receipt off separately to other lottery bankings.

Unfortunately, if none of the above options is suitable and you are unable to pay through your regular agent then your membership will be temporarily suspended from the draw and will be reinstated as soon as your agent re-opens for business.

The Club would like to say a huge thank you to all of our members who continue to support the Prize Draw in these difficult times. It is much appreciated. We also thank those agents who are still open for taking the time to collect entries and hope to see those that are presently closed back again as soon as possible. Take care.
