Keith was born in Dalbeattie and has lived there all his life. Married with 3 grown up children he worked with the old Pearl Assurance before spending 25 years with NFU Mutual in their Financial Services Division. Well known in the area during the 80s & 90s in the local football and Tennis scene.
In 2007 Keith unfortunately lost his leg to cancer age 45, however that didn’t stop him going to watch his beloved team at Hampden against Aberdeen and got special permission from the Beatson in Glasgow and between Chemotherapy sessions to attend, a match he will never forget. This was of course followed up by another visit to the National Stadium for the final against Rangers. Keith has been following Queens since age 12 and fondly remembers games with his Dad in the old “Coo shed”. Prior to his illness Keith was also a member of the Tartan Army following Scotland to home and away games.
Perhaps better known now for his accomplishments in the world of Wheelchair Tennis where Keith still competes at a high standard throughout Europe on the ITF tour.
