Hair this morning ... Gone this afternoon

A week past Saturday, Club Captain, Stephen Dobbie and his sons Jack and Maxwell announced that they would be shaving their heads to raise money for the NHS.  Over the past ten days people from across the world have been making donations via their fundraising page helping to smash the target they had set.

The main event took place this afternoon but you can still donate until the weekend.

Stephen, Jack, Maxwell and Susanne wanted to pass on their heartfelt thanks to everyone.

“Thank you so much to everyone who has donated.  We are overwhelmed by the support shown and we are extremely grateful to each and every one.  It’s such a great cause and we would like to share our appreciation to the NHS and all the other people who are keeping the country going”.

“We originally set our fundraising target at £1,000 - this may have seemed modest but we felt anything more than that would have been adventurous, especially with the financial uncertainty everyone is facing at the moment. Yet even with all these worries, people still put their hands in their pockets and donated so generously - it really does show what people truly value and clearly that’s the work of our tremendous NHS. So far we have raised £3,728 with gift aid it takes it to £4542 which is incredible! So thank you so much”.

The page will remain open until Sunday (12th April).  To donate to Stephen and Boys fundraiser -  Donations can be made via their fundraising page HERE
