In the lead up to Christmas, Queens as a club will be taking part in various events throughout the community to bring a bit of festive cheer.  

At one o'clock on Friday the 15th of December we will be taking part in the Scottish Professional Football Leagues, Festive Friends initiative.  Residents of Charnwood Lodge will be welcomed to the Queen of the South Arena where they will be served a Christmas Lunch and receive a gift.

Then on Monday the 18th of December the Under 20s squad will be helping out at the Salvation Army in Dumfries.  They will be down at the SA offices on the Whitesands to serve up food.  After a successful event last year, the Queens youth sides will again be holding a food collection for the local community.  Details of when and where to donate will be confirmed in due course.   

The first team will also be doing their bit with our annual visit to Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary.  They will distribute gifts to the Children in the Kids Ward on Tuesday the 19th December.
