It’s a big day for the club tomorrow (Thursday 18th) with the return to pre-season training and the publication of the league fixtures by the SPFL at midday.

As things start to get back to normal after a much-needed break, manager Nicky Clark and his assistants Sandy and George will take charge of their first session after taking over the reins. The Gaffer is looking forward to getting back on the training pitch with some familiar faces from last season as those who were still under contract, Taylor Charters, Jack Hannah, Liam Smith, Kai Kennedy and Jack Stott are joined by Benji Luissint, Ben Johnstone, Niall Rogerson, Kurtis Guthrie and Billy Gray who have all signed contract extensions.

However, with Ross Stewart, Reece Lyon, Matty Douglas and Euan Ross all moving on to new clubs and Jordan Allan and Brennan Dickenson leaving along with Callum Penman, Zander Mackenzie and Seb Mason who returned to their parent clubs there is still work to be done as the Boss continues to build the squad.

It is going to be a busy period for everyone involved at the club over the next few weeks with three public pre-season games against Nomads, Threave Rovers and Crusaders scheduled and talks continuing with players as we assemble a squad ahead of our first competitive games that start with the league cup group stages in July.
