Following the end of his current two-year deal we are pleased to have secured the services of Benji Luissint for another season.
The 27-year-old midfielder was a regular last season making 49 starts for the team and made five other appearances from the bench. The fans favourite chipped in with six goals, and picked up the goal of the season award for his strike against Montrose.
The popular Frenchman is also a pivotal part of our community programmes.
Manager Nicky Clark said “Benji impressed me last season. His contribution from midfield was underrated at times but his work rate is unquestionable. Off the park he is a big personality around the place and in the community and he is someone we are delighted to have back in the squad.”
Benji himself said “I’m really happy to be given the chance to stay at Queens as I have loved my time here. We are all disappointed at the way last season ended and we feel we have something to prove. With Airdrie and Ross County now in the league it’s going to be tougher again but we have some good players and we are looking forward to challenging.”
