Queen of the South Football Club is delighted to announce that striker Kurtis Guthrie has signed a one-year contract extension, keeping him at Palmerston Park for the 2026/27 season.

The experienced forward joined the Doonhamers last summer and quickly became an important figure in the squad, bringing leadership, quality and a wealth of experience to the frontline.

During his first season at the club, Guthrie made 39 appearances in all competitions, scoring 11 goals and providing a further four assists. His contributions played a key role throughout the campaign, with the 33-year-old consistently leading the line and providing a valuable attacking threat.
