Queen of the South Football Club is delighted to announce that midfielder Ben Johnstone has signed a new contract with the club, extending his stay at the club until the summer of 2027.

A proud product of the Queen of the South Academy, Ben has been part of the club's pathway since joining in 2018 and has developed into an important member of the first-team squad. At just 21 years of age, he continues to embody the club's commitment to nurturing and developing local talent.

The 2025/26 campaign proved to be a breakthrough season for the midfielder, who made 33 appearances in all competitions and scored his first senior goal for the Doonhamers. His energy, work ethic and consistency in the middle of the park saw him establish himself as a key figure throughout the season.
