It is a double celebration at the club this afternoon, after Manager Peter Murphy picked up his Manager of the Month award for December, Captain Matty Douglas collected the League One Player of the Month trophy too.

On receiving his award Matty said “It’s great to have been selected as the player of the month for the league as there are other really good players in the division. We have been on a good run of form so it’s the whole team who have performed. We got a wakeup call against Inverness as we realised the level we needed to be at to compete and we have pushed on. December was a good month for me personally, scoring against Cove and getting my first professional hat-trick. Hopefully, this is the first of a few awards.”
