Match Preview v Peterhead - 16th Aug

Aug 15 2025 11:57

We are back at Palmerston tomorrow as we host Peterhead in league one.

Tomorrow’s opponents won league two last year and like ourselves have a win and defeat in the league so far. Both sides have three points from the opening fixtures, but the visitors sit third in the table ahead of us on goal-difference.

Ahead of the match, Manager Peter Murphy said “We go into the game on the back of a couple of disappointing performances so we all have a point to prove. Newly promoted to league one, Peterhead will also be out to prove themselves. They're strong and have good forward going players and good defenders. They like to play a bit of football, are physical and can mix it up, so they’ll come to us and make it tough. We need to make sure that we're prepared and the players that are available go out and acquit themselves.”
