After their scheduled league fixture against Dunfermline was cancelled, the Under 19 side played host to Abbey Vale in a friendly at Palmerston on Tuesday evening.

Dan Fyall opened the scoring after twenty minutes to give the youngsters a half-time lead before the visitors pulled level from the penalty spot with 55 minutes played. Caiden Baty rounded off the scoring eight minutes later to restore the advantage and give the home side a two-one victory.

Coach Eddie Warwick said “It was a good positive workout for both team and gave the players a chance to get more minutes under their belt. It was another victory so it keeps the momentum going.”
