As we reported earlier in the week, one of our young supporters, Kieran was attacked by a group of individuals outside Firhill following our cup tie against Partick Thistle. We are delighted that he is on the mend and that he was able to follow us again yesterday to Stranraer.
After the match, manager Peter Murphy and Kieran's favourite player Ross Stewart caught up with him to present him a signed top to replace the one that he was wearing at the time of the incident.
The Gaffer said "We were all shocked at what happened to Kieran when he was sticking up for another supporter younger than himself. We saw him on Tuesday night when he was bloodied and bruised, so we are delighted to see him looking much better. Its a small gesture from the club but hopefully its something he is pleased with and he will remember as he continues to support the team."
All the best Kieran and keep supporting the team.
