Further to the news about Ben Johnstone, we can also confirm that his fellow Tanner Fund apprentice, Jay Burns, has joined Abbey Vale on loan for the rest of the season. Like Ben, Jay will of course remain eligible to play for our Reserves also. Jay, who only turned 17 recently, has been on the bench 4 times for the 1st team this season but is yet to make his competitive debut.

We would like to wish Jay the best of luck in his loan spell also.
