We are delighted to announce that Josh Todd is the new Club Captain. Josh, who signed a new extended deal yesterday, takes over the role from Wullie Gibson following his appointment as Manager.

Wullie said. "I'm delighted that 'Toddy' has agreed to take on the captain's role. I didn't want to change too much too soon last week but I can't realistically continue to captain the club as well as manage it. There are occasions when the captain is the point of contact between players and the manager and I can't hold both roles. Josh is an experienced head among the squad and is a great character in the dressing room. He's popular with the lads and the ideal candidate to take it on. This doesn't mean I intend to stop playing though. I'll be one of his players as well as his manager."

Josh added, "It's a great honour to be asked to take over as captain from the Gaffer and I certainly didn't take long to say yes when he asked me.I am looking forward to it. I've filled in as captain before when Wullie was out of the side but this will be a step up in responsibility."
