We are pleased to confirm that Wullie Gibson and Grant Murray will take charge of the first team until the end of the season.

The pair were in temporary charge for our game at home to Arbroath on Saturday but will now take over the reigns as we continue our fight to stay in the Championship.

Wullie who is also club captain said “I am absolutely thrilled to be given the opportunity to take charge of the side. It was a hectic week preparing for the game on Saturday but now that things have been finalised and it’s starting to sink in, I am delighted and honoured to be given the position”.

When I spoke to the Chairman and expressed an interest I knew I still wanted to play so the option was to bring someone in and that is Grant. He is someone I know well having been teammates at Kilmarnock. He is someone I trust and together we are looking forward to the challenge. We know how big a task it is going to be but the signs on Saturday were encouraging and we will work as hard as possible to keep us in the Championship”.

Grant added “I am over the moon to be back involved and I’m looking forward to working with Wullie. I came in on Friday but the only thing that mattered then was the game on Saturday. I told Wullie we would speak about things going forward after that and I’m pleased to have officially joined the club. And I look forward to being part of a management team that can hopefully go from strength to strength to help the team both on and off the park".
