The striker previously joined the squad on loan from Kilmarnock and made 10 appearances in which he scored 3 goals at his time at Palmerston.

The original deal was until the end of the season but injuries at Rugby Park saw his parent club recall him at the start of the window but with Derek McInnes bringing in strikers they have agreed to allow the 21 year old to return to Dumfries for the remainder of the campaign.

Manager Allan Johnston said “We are pleased to have Innes back with us. We were disappointed when he was recalled but we are grateful to KIlmarnock for allowing him to return. Having been part of the squad already he can hit the ground running. He carries a threat upfront so hopefully he can help us start winning games and help get us up the table”.

Innes reclaims his number 19 squad number.
