Welcome - Sol Brynn

Following the injury to Josh Rae in our league match against Kilmarnock, we have now completed a deal to bring goalkeeper Sol Brynn to Palmerston for the rest of the season. The 20-year-old joins on loan from Middlesbrough.

The youngster has been with Boro’s academy since 2009 and has taken part in England training camps. He has worked his way up through the Under 18 & Under 23 set ups and has been on the fringe of the first team at Riverside Stadium as part of their squad for their FA Cup tie against Tottenham and for a couple of league matches.

Manager, Allan Johnston said “Josh will be out for a while as he has a fractured eye socket and other facial injuries and requires an operation, so we are pleased to have been able to bring in Sol. He is a young keeper looking for experience so hopefully we can both benefit from the loan deal. We have built up a good relationship with Middlesbrough and again we are grateful to them for allowing Sol to join us”.

Sol has been allocated squad number 12.

We welcome Sol to the club and send our best wishes to Josh for a speedy recovery.
