Ian McGrath

As manager Gary Naysmith continues to reshape the squad in the January transfer window. We have agreed a deal with Ian McGrath until the end of the season.

Ian is a 23 year old attacking midfielder from America who stands at over six foot tall. He played Division one University football at Evansville. Where he scored 26 goals and had a hand in another ten in the 70 games he played.

He was awarded All American honours and was a candidate for the MAC Herman Trophy, the award given to the best player in all of Division One University Football.

He has also made ten appearances for League 1 side FC Buffalo where he scored four goals and he scored once for USL championship side Nashville SC during his four appearances for them.

Gary said "Ian has spent the last few weeks training with us and featured in our friendly match against Annan. He has shown up well in his time with the squad and both Dougie and I can see potential. We have also watched several bits of footage of him playing in America and some of the goals he has scored are unbelievable. It's a short term deal but we believe he will be a good addition to the squad".

Due to Ian's nationality we are awaiting International clearance.
