Todorov Signs

As the winter transfer window draws to a close, we have this afternoon added Nikolay Todorov to the squad for the rest of the season.  The 21 year old striker first signed for Nottingham Forest in 2014 before moving to Scotland when he joined Heart of Midlothian a year later.  He has spent time on loan at Cowdenbeath and latterly in the Championship with Livingston, where he earned a call up for his country, Bulgaria at Under 21 level.

Following the signing, Queens boss Gary Naysmith said “I am delighted to add Nikolay to our squad for the remainder of the season. I feel that he will add something different to our current striking options. He is young, eager to learn and is very hard working and hopefully he will help us with our play off push. Nikolay was really keen to join us once we expressed an interest and I have to thank the Board and also Craig Levein at Hearts for making the loan move possible. He, like Dom Thomas who signed yesterday, will go straight into our squad for Saturday’s game against St Mirren”.

Dom Thomas has been give squad number 10, while Nikolay will wear number 15.
