Match Preview - St Mirren 24th September

Dont forget this weekends game against St Mirren is on Sunday with a 4.10pm kick off. For those who cant make it the game is live on BBC Alba

Manager, Gary Naysmith had this to say ahead of the game :

After watching the Morton game back, I don't think there was a lot in the game. A moment of brilliance for their second goal and two really good saves from their goalkeeper was the difference on the day. While frustrated at the final result, I don't think that there was to much wrong with how we played. Sometimes It's fine margins that decide a game and I think that was the case on Saturday.

With this week's game on Sunday, things have been a bit different to our normal training schedule however we have still prepared properly for the game against St Mirren.  They too have made a good start to the season, especially at home, so it should be a really good competitive game in Paisley and One that we are all looking forward to.

Some of the players who haven't started for the 1st team in recent weeks played in the Under 20 game during the week. It was a good chance for Andy, Connor, Owen, Jack and Shaun to get some game time under their belts whilst Ross Fergusson and James McFadden also played the full 90 minutes as we continues to build up their match fitness.  We will again be without Dan Carmichael for this one but otherwise will be at full strength.
