U20s Clinch Development League West Title

Its a massive congratulations to our u20s side who beat nearest challengers Morton 4-0 at Palmerston tonight to wrap up their Development League title with two games spare. They moved 12 points clear of the Greenock side, who had previously inflicted one of only two defeats all season on Queens.

Ross Fergusson broke the deadlock early on with a shot across the keeper before Aidan Smith's glancing header went in off the post to double the advantage early in the second half. Any lingering doubts were put to bed by two goals in a minute midway through the half, both from Connor Murray. The first was a terrific low shot into the bottom corner from 25 yards and, seizing on an error straight from the restart, he then ran straight through the middle of the Morton defence to tuck the ball home and make it four.

Well done to Eddie Warwick and his side.
