The u20's side achieved a hard fought win at Ayr United last night in the latest Development League West fixture. The 1-0 result puts them 4 points clear at the top of the League, albeit Morton have a game in hand.

After a tight opening half, Owen Moxon grabbed the game's only goal just after the hour mark with a header following Bob Murray's long throw. Although Moson and Aidan Smith went close to doubling the lead later we couldn't get a second goal and had to withstand some pressure from the home side in the final ten minutes. In the end though a very good result at a difficult venue where we lost heavily earlier in the season. Well done to the lads.
