Minute's Silence for Ryan Baird on Sunday

As most will be aware, Ryan Baird, a 39 year old Northern Ireland born supporter of Linfield and Rangers who lived locally in Sanquhar, was tragically killed on Saturday morning following a road accident whilst on route to watch the Rangers v Partick Thistle match at Ibrox. After discussion between representatives of Queen of the South, Linfield and Ryan's family, who will be in attendance at Palmerston on Sunday, it has been agreed to observe a minute's silence before the game in memory of Ryan.

Linfield supporters have also organised a minute's applause to take place in the 39th minute of the game. We are sure our supporters will also join in with this.

Our thoughts are with Ryan's family and friends at this time.
