Murray's Join Gretna on Loan

Connor Murray and Richard "Bob" Murray have both today joined the Queens contingent at Gretna 2008 on Development Loans until January. The moves will allow both players to play regularly at Lowland League level whilst remaining eligible to turn out for our u20's side in the Development League. Both lads have been around the fringes of the first team recently and have first team squad numbers, with Connor having been an unused substitute in the recent League game against Ayr United.

The two players are not related to one another. Centre back "Bob" Murray is a local boy who hails from Sanquhar and came through the Queens Club Academy programme whilst Connor is from Glasgow and came through St Mirren's Academy programme before linking up with Queens last season. They will now link up with Jack Leighfield and Jack Brannan who are already on Development Loans at Gretna along with former players Danny Armstrong, Jack Dickinson and Dylan Neill.

In a separate move it has been agreed that young centre back Adam Uphill will return to Upper Annandale on Development Loan also where he spent half of last season. Adam's paperwork however has not yet been completed and will probably be dealt with next week. Likewise when that move is completed he will join Ewan Gourlay, Bailey White, Liam Robertson and Callum Williams who are all already on Development Loan at Uppers.
