Arnold Coates

We were saddened to hear this week of the passing of former player Arnold Coates who died on Monday 25th February following a struggle with dementia. He was 76 years old.

Arnold Coates was an English Amateur international who had two seasons with Queens between 1963 and 1965. He scored 25 goals in 48 appearances in his time here and had previously been a member of the Great Britain Olympic football squad in 1960.

Our thoughts are with his son Ian and the rest of his family.
