First Home Game

Gus MacPherson is hoping to have more-or-less a full squad available on Saturday for the Scottish Communities League Cup against Stranraer at Palmerston.

The only doubts are `Magic` Johnston and Marc McCuster. Marc signed last Saturday prior to the Ayr cup-tie but was `carrying an injury` and didn`t make it onto the park. And he`ll be out this week as well.

Another new signing is goalkeeper Lee Robinson. Lee is no big stranger to Palmerston as this will be his third spell at the club.

Says the manager, "We`re all set and ready! It`s a big game for the club and our first home fixture, so I`m looking to win through and progress to the latter stages where all the `big guns and big money` are.

"We were a bit short in the goalkeeping area and I`m happy to get Lee back on board. He`s been training with us for a few weeks and is well known to the `Palmerston Faithful`.

"The players are all `up for it` and I`m sure our supporter are as well. I`m really hoping to a decent turnout as it`s our first game in front of the home fans.

"So I can only ask you to get behind us from the off and cheer us on to victory."
