Queens continued their unbeaten pre-season behind closed doors this afternoon against Gus MacPherson`s Queen`s Park side. It was another decent workout for the side with a few futness issues beginning to clear up and saw Ian McShane back in action after his recent groin operation.

The first half was competitive though we always held the balance of play and took the lead right on the stroke of half time through Derek Lyle`s accurate header. Other chances were missed and we made eight substitutions during the second half as most of the squad got a run out. Two of those substitutes combined for a second goal with twenty minutes to go as Scott Hooper firmly headed home Connor Graham`s corner kick. The match finished 2-0.
