Our busy schedule for December continues tomorrow when we host Dunfermline in the last 32 of the KDM Evolution Trophy.
Although tomorrow’s visitors are in the Championship, the two sides faced each other less than two weeks ago when they went head-to-head at East End Park in the Scottish Cup. Despite Queens taking an early lead that day through an own goal by Josh Tod, Neil Lennon’s side hit back with two quick goals from Chris Kane to secure a 2-1 victory and their place in the next round.
Ahead of the match, Manager Peter Murphy said “Although we want to be picking up three points, especially at home, Saturday’s draw against Cove Rangers was a good point. We conceded right on half time but the players came out with real intent in the second half and thankfully Matty popped up with an equaliser late one. We now face a very good Championship side in the knockout stages of the KDM, we played well against them at East End Park but we know it will be a difficult game. We have been preparing to make sure that we're fully ready to go and give another good account of ourselves.”
