Match Preview v Kelty Hearts - 15th Nov

Nov 14 2025 16:46

We have the first of three tough away games tomorrow when we make the trip to take on Kelty Hearts in league one.

Our victory over East Fife last weekend moved us onto 20 points and to 4th in the table, whilst the hosts currently have eight points from their 13 games so far and sit in 9th place.

When we faced each other in the first round of fixtures at Palmerston in August, Kurtis Guthrie opened the scoring to give us a half time lead. Aaron Arnott levelled less than ten minutes into the second half only for Reece Lyon to score what proved to be a winner two minutes from time (2-1).

Ahead of the game manager Peter Murphy said “We are on a good run at the moment so confidence is high within the squad and we want to continue the momentum. Kelty Hearts gave us a game at Palmerston and despite their league position are not a bad side. It’s a tight pitch up there, open to the elements, so it's going to be tough but if we go out and play the way we can then we will hopefully come away with a positive result.”
