We can confirm that Kian Leslie has joined us from Kilmarnock.

The attacking winger who is a graduate of the Rugby Park academy makes the move as part of our cooperative loan agreement with the Premiership side.

Kian is only 20-years-old but he has been in and around Kilmarnock’s first team squad for a few seasons, having been on the bench for their Europa League qualifier last year and he was also involved in their league cup campaign earlier this season.  

While playing for Killie Under 18s, he has also gained experience in men’s football during loan spells with Clyde and Elgin City. 

Manager Peter Murphy said “We had hoped to have Kian with us earlier but he was involved in the cup games with Kilmarnock and then picked up an injury so we’ve had to be patient. He is an attacking player who has good pace and likes to take players on.  He has technical ability and is happy out wide or dropping in to link up and get the ball in the box. So we are looking forward to having him with us and hopefully while we benefit he can continue his development.”
