U19s beat Nithsdale Wanderers

After their league defeat at home to Falkirk during the week, the under 19s got back to winning ways this afternoon with a victory over Nithsdale Wanderers.

Kayden Reilly scored a first half double as the two sides were locked at two each at the interval.

HALF TIME: Queens U19s 2 Nithsdale Wanderers 2

The visitors added a third after the break but Billy Gray scored a second half hat-trick to make things comfortable for the hosts with Reilly adding to his first half tally to complete a hat-trick of his own.

Coach Eddie Warwick sad “It was a worthwhile exercise with lots of positives to take from the game and gives the squad some valuable game time as they prepare for their Scottish Cup tie.”

 

The Scottish Cup match is a second-round tie away at Auchinleck Talbot on Friday evening. The match has a 7.30pm kick off.
