Match Preview v Cove Rangers - 2nd August 2025

Aug 1 2025 15:08

Our league fixtures kick off tomorrow with an away game at Cove Rangers. After facing them in the play-off semi-final last year, we are beginning the new campaign where the old ended.

Ahead of the game, Manager Peter Murphy said “It’s going to be a tough first game as I expect them to be as good as they were last year. They have some experienced players and Paul Hartley always has them organized and well drilled. When we started against Alloa last year we had several injuries so hopefully we are in a better position this time and the players are ready and raring to go. We said throughout the Premier Sports Cup games that the league was always going to be our priority, we were building up to the league, it’s important that we get a good start so we are all hungry to get going.”
