Jul 8 2025 17:04

We are deligthed to welcome Stephen Richards and Thomas King to the team here at Palmerston. Both will work in collaboration to fullfil the role of Disability Access Officer.

Stephen Richards-

'Originally from Northamptonshire, I moved to Dumfries and Galloway in 1983 and settled in Dumfries in 1988. I’ve followed Queen of the South since then. As someone who has been disabled for over 35 years, I’m very aware of the challenges disabled fans can face when accessing football. My aim is to work closely with the club and fellow supporters to improve the matchday experience for disabled fans at Palmerston.'

Thomas King-

I am proud to become one of the new Disability Access Officers for Queen of the South for the 25/26 season. Having grown up not far from Palmerston and having many happy memries of the club from a young age, I am honoured to have this chance to give something back.

Having worked with disabled people in past jobs and now  being disabled myself I will try to bring my knowledge of both sides to the role. I look forward to working closey with Stephen and Dan to try and improve the match day experience for our disabled fan base, picking up from where Keith Thom left off. Keith was a huge part of the QUeen of the South family and will be a hard act to follow.
