Queens suffer first league defeat away at Montrose

Following last weekend’s win over Annan, there was no surprise that Manager Peter Murphy stuck with the same starting eleven for the trip to Montrose. It was a fairly even start to the game with the first real chance for Queens coming in the tenth minute when Mikey Hewitt headed over from a Harry Cochrane corner. Seven minutes later Benji Luissint tried to make space for himself but couldn’t get the room and hit a low shot well wide of the upright.
