In It Together Kit Launch

Following on from World Mental Health Day on Monday, we are announcing our 3rd kit for the season.

Our black out kit is a visual representation of dark times and that no matter who you are, mental health issues can affect you. We want this show of support to have every single person understand that it is 'ok not to be ok' and as a club we are here to support people going through tough times. The kit, which is bespoke with a Queens mental health training course attached via a QR code, is to raise education surrounding mental health and wellbeing. This aligns with our Community Trust's launch of several mental health and wellbeing projects from the Food-Hub, the Changing Room Project, and the return of the football memories group under the new name of the Social South.

The top will be available to buy from 12pm tomorrow from the Club Shop and again after tomorrows game, giving fans at tomorrow match first chance to buy. Online sales will start tomorrow evening, look out for an announcement on the website and social media.

Mental health and wellbeing are close to the club’s heart, and we wish to make an impact. Suicide is the biggest killer of people under 30 years of age, the biggest killer of men under the age of 45. Approximately 1 in 4 people go through a mental health issue within their lifetime. It is time to break down the stigma. Even on the dark days it is ok not to be ok. £5 of every kit sold will be donated towards mental health projects in our community. We are all in it together; speak up and save lives.
