Season Tickets & Information for Supporters Season 2021-22

With the new season just around the corner and with Dumfries and Galloway currently in level one of the Scottish Government coronavirus guidelines, the club have been working tirelessly with our health and safety and security teams to ensure that we can have as many supporters as possible back at Palmerston when games resume. It has been tough times for everyone and there is no doubt that football needs fans.

While we would love to have everyone back at Palmerston, due to the guidelines currently in place it isn't possible. Although we are allowed up to 1000 fans in level one, with the two metre social distancing still in place within the Government and SFA guidelines our capacity will be less than that. After working around the ground and measuring each section to be socially distanced we are able to allow seating and standing and in total this will equate to around 500 fans. This total will roughly equate to 250 seated and 250 standing.

Therefore, until the rules change these spaces will be allocated to season ticket holders only, meaning there will be no walk-up tickets for matches for home or away fans. Based on previous season ticket sales we are likely to have more ticket holders than places, therefore we will initially operate a ballot system on a match by match basis. Whilst we may not be in a position to guarantee entry to every match for every season ticket holder, as things stand, being a season ticket holder is the only chance that you will have of having the opportunity to be inside the ground.

For season ticket holders who are not lucky in the ballot they will again be given free access to our match streaming service that we will be offering again this season. Those who held a season ticket last season and renew for the 2021/22 campaign will be given a £20 voucher for the Club Shop as well as having their name printed on the new third kit which also we hope to release in the next week or so. The £20 voucher offer however does not apply to Junior Blues. Instead we have made Junior Blues free for the season in partnership with the Queen of the South Community Trust.

Should the Government requirements for social distancing ease, and we are able to safely accommodate more supporters, then all season ticket holders will again have priority along with our Junior Blue season ticket holders. Initially Junior Blues under 12 will not be considered for the ballot as they require adult supervision.

Season ticket holders should note that we are currently not able to offer individual seat requests due to certain areas of the stadium being out of bounds to supporters. Therefore, all supporters attending games will be allocated a seat or standing place on arrival.

Season tickets will be on sale ONLINE today and will be initially online until the shop reopens within the next couple of weeks with prices again frozen.

As previously mentioned, all season ticket holders will have free access to our streaming service. This will also be available to non-season ticket holders at a cost of £10 per match, held at last seasons price.

For the upcoming cup games, priority will be given to season ticket holders and more information on these fixtures will be released in due course.

We are sure supporters will appreciate the hard work and effort that has gone into getting things in place for their safe return to matches and will be looking forward to the new season as much as we are.
