Niyah Signs

Niyah Joseph is the latest player to extend his stay with the club after the youngster signed a one-year extension.

The attacking player who just turned 20 joined the squad at the start of last season from Hamilton Accies following a successful loan spell with neighbours Annan Athletic. His first goal in Queens colours came at the National stadium, when he fired the ball into the top corner in our 3 – 0 Betfred League cup win over Queens Park in November.

Speaking to the website Niyah said “I am delighted to have agreed a new deal. I really enjoyed my first season at the club which has given me the chance to play at a good level”.

“I was in and out the team a wee bit last season but I was pleased with my performances when I did play. I want to continue to improve whether that is with goals or assists and become a starter in the team week in week out to take us to the next level”.

Allan Johnston added “We had some good young players within the squad last season and Niyah was one of them, so we are delighted he has agreed a new deal and hopefully he will push on next season”.
