u20's Defeat Heston in Friendly

The u20's were back in action this week after the Xmas break in preparation for their forthcoming Challenge Cup tie and the restart of the Development League.

QoS 20's 4 - 0 Heston Rovers

Queens began the game on the front foot causing problems for Heston's defence and their keeper made good saves to deny Declan Tremble and John Wight. However the opening goal was not long delayed as in the 10th minute Tremble struck the post from 12 yards and Wight was on hand to knock home the rebound. Despite more pressure and more goalscoring opportunities the scoreline remained 1-0 at the interval.

The second half progress with a similar balance of play and Declan Tremble added a second goal with a low shot into the bottom corner from just inside the penalty area. On the hour mark the Queens 20's made three changes with Thompson, White and McGale being introduced, and it was recent signing Robbie McGale with some excellent work down the right before setting up Declan Tremble for his 2nd goal on 65 minutes with a finish high into the net. Ten minutes later and McGale again provided the assist for Bailey White to make it 4-0.
