Palmerston Park has been under covers all week during the cold snap but was never the less partly frozen when the covers were lifted this morning. The frost is lifting quickly now that the covers are up, temperatures are rising and the rain is falling. Given the overnight weather forecast, we are confident that the game against Brechin City tomorrow should go ahead as planned. However, as a precautionary measure, and bearing in mind what happened to us last week and the length of journey to be undertaken by our opponents as well as the fact that supporters from both teams may be travelling a fair distance, we owe a duty of care to ensure an early decision is made. With that in mind we have arranged for an 8am pitch inspection to take place tomorrow morning and have kept Brechin up to date with developments.
