With work continuing behind the screens at Palmerston ahead of the new season, we are delighted to announce that we have agreed a three year sponsorship deal with local company Alpha Solway Limited.

Part of the Globus group, Alpha Solway is one of the world’s fasting growing manufacturers of global worker safety solutions for respiratory, chemical, hearing and head protection along with safety eyewear. They recently secured a multi-million pounds contract with the Scottish Government to supply vital PPE for the NHS.

The sponsorship deal will see the company name on the sleeve of the first team kit and the main stand will be renamed the Alpha Solway Stand.

Speaking on behalf of Queens, club Chairman, Billy Hewitson said “We are delighted to welcome a brand new sponsor. It’s the first time the club have had a sleeve sponsor but Alpha Solway become our third main stand sponsor and join long time sponsors Oakbank and BDS Digital. They are a fast growing company across the world and are a massive asset to Dumfries and Galloway, so to have them work with the club is fantastic. In difficult times for all companies we are very grateful for their support and that of all our sponsors and supporters”.
