Reserves Beat Greystone

QoS 9 - 1 Greystone Rovers

Queens enjoyed most of the possession in their latest friendly at Palmerston last night, creating several chances. Despite this, Greystone should probably have taken the lead following defensive errors and only a good stop from Charlie Cowie in a one on one situation prevented it. Queens went in at the break 3-0 up thanks to goals from greg Brown, Cammy Shaw and Lewis Gibson. They started the second period slackly though and it was Greystone who scored next from a free kick after Cowie could only parry the initial shot on goal. This spurred QoS into action again and they upped the tempo, playing much better and controlling the game. Further goals followed from Cammy Shaw (a secnd half hat trick), a second from Gibson and strikes from Kane Paton and Harry Hay. QoS would like to thank Greystone Rovers for the game and wish them well for the rest of the season.
