Following our victory over Inverness Caledonian Thistle last night, there was more good news for boss Allan Johnston today as he was named the Glen’s Championship Manager of the Month for January.

Collecting his award the Gaffer said “It’s always nice to win these awards because it is a recognition that the team is doing well. Although it is my name that is on it, the award is for everyone not just me, it has been a real team effort on and off the park. So I have to thank all the other coaches and players, it’s a reward for their hard work”.

Colin Matthews, CEO of Glen’s owner the Loch Lomond Group, added “After an undefeated run for Queens’ in January, including impressive league victories over Ayr and Greenock Morton, Allan Johnston is a more than worthy winner of the Scottish Championship Glen’s Manager of the Month award.
