The Dumfries Ice Bowl, adjacent to the Rosefield Stand is hosting a major Curling competition through Saturday 28 October. It is expected that this will have a significant impact on parking around Palmerston Park.

Fans travelling by car are advised to find alternative parking away from the ground and leave plenty of time to get their tickets and enter the ground. Supporters buses are requested not to enter David Street or King Street when dropping off passengers due to the potential congestion in those streets. Drivers are requested to pick passengers up after the conclusion of the match on Terregles Street and thereafter exit south onto the A780 Castle Douglas Road. It is suggested that buses/minibuses park on College Mains road just off the roundabout with the A76 on the town bypass (adjacent to Curry’s/PC World, as the other side at Aldi is the access road to the ambulance depot and is extremely busy).
