Celtic 13's v QoS 13's
The youngest QoS squad travelled to Lennoxtown for this game on Saturday and apart from a bad 15 minute spell when Celtic scored their goals, the boys gave as good as they got and acquitted themselves very well. A difficult test for them but one which we came away with plenty of positives.
QoS 15's v Alloa Athletic 15's
Another improving performance for the 15's squad considering the impact of holidays and injuries. Queens responded to the loss of an early goals with a goal from Christopher Stewart, converting a corner from close range. Unfortunately he finished from close range at the other end of the pitch soon after to restore the visitor's lead! The best goal of the game saw Aiden Kerr level for Queens and an own goal then put Queens in front before Alloa drew level again almost immediately.
QoS 17's v Alloa Athletic 17's
The 17's saw off Alloa in what can best be described as a workmanlike performance. Queens should have been at least four up at the break but only had a Liam Douglas header to show for their dominance, having missed several good chances and also a penalty. Alloa equalised with a shot from distance around the hour mark. This stung Queens into action and further goals from Ross Irving and Matty Gibson ensured the win.
There are NO fixtures on Sunday October 22nd due to school holidays. Training is on Tuesday and Thursday as normal however.
