Managers Thoughts On Upcoming Hibs Game

The manager gave his thoughts on the upcoming game against Hibs at Easter Road

"I felt that we produced a complete performance against Ayr last weekend.

It was a game that we dominated from start to finish and on another day could've won by a lot more.  We missed a few chances in the first half but the boys didn't let it get to them and they kept going and came away with a deserved win.  As I said straight after the game, I'm happy with them just now and I'm delighted we managed to get a clean-sheet.  They deserve a lot of credit for the work rate and energy they've shown during training and in our last few games which has resulted in us taking seven points from nine.

The last two result have eased the pressure on us but we still can't take our eye of the ball as we are still aiming to finish as high up the table as possible.

What it does mean is that we can go into the final four games a bit more relaxed, not in a way that we're not going to try because we will be giving it everything in these games and going for the win, but we can go into the games enjoying our football not having to worry as much knowing that we need get a result to maintain our status.

This weekend we head to Easter Road to face champions in waiting Hibernian, there is no doubt they are the best team in the league and will be crowned champions, depending on results they could clinch it on Saturday so there will be a real party atmosphere, but we don't want to be going there as the team they played when they win it, we want to come away with a result of our own.

Our attacking play in the last two games has brought us results so I see no point in changing that by going defensive, we will be going all out for another three points."

In team news, Derek Lyle remains doubtful after missing last weeks win over Ayr.
