The club are delighted to announce that former Kilmarnock midfielder James Fowler has agreed to join us as Player / Coach. James has been working with the squad this week during pre-season and will travel down to Palmerston along with manager Jim McIntyre to sign his contract tomorrow following training.
Apart from a short spell on loan at Cowdenbeath last season James, who is still only 33, has spent his entire career to date with Kilmarnock and made the most appearances of any player during the existence of the old SPL with 401. Although never capped at full international level, he has a Scotland B cap, won against Finland in 2007.
James has also been working his way through his coaching badges over the last few years and holds a UEFA A Licence already. We look forward to welcoming James to Palmerston.
