Ludo's Charity Appeal

Dear All,

With the kind help of the Queens Board and Show Racism the Red Card I’m going to start a fundraising throughout the season for the Schools for hope.

Schools for hope was founded by Mikael Silvestre in 2005 to build, maintain and staff schools in impoverished part of the world.

The programme’s goal is to teach children to read and write. It uses sport as a medium to achieve this goal, teaching children tolerance, team spirit, self respect, respect for others, discipline and commitment. It also aims to create important bonds across religious, political and socio-economic boundaries and divisions.

Schools for hope has so far helped fund and develop three schools and has many other projects that urgently required our help.

Our goal will be to raise a minimum of £10,000 to help buy a solar panel to provide electrical energy for one of the schools.

I will personally give:

·         £5 for each goal we score/game

·         £10 for each clean sheet we get/game

Your support through any donation or by following my example will be greatly appreciated and will go a long way in the education of the children.

We thank you for taking the time to consider supporting Schools for hope. For more information and donations please visit www.schoolsforhope.com or contact either Eric Moffat - admin@qosfc.com in the club office or Colin Rutherford at the ground on match days.

Many thanks and hope you’ll enjoy the game

Ludo
