Training going well but Bobby Harris picks up swine flu
Speaking to the Website today, Gordon Chisholm says pre-season training is going exceptionally well. Added the manager, "The hot weather's making it a bit difficult as conditions aren't ideal, but everyone is working extremely hard and I'm pleased with the effort they're all putting in.
"We're off to St Andrews again next week for a four day bonding session. We've a couple of 'bounce games' arranged and we'll play a bit of golf as well. We've quite a few new players on board now and it's all about bonding and everyone getting to know each other.
"Bobby Harris has been 'laid low' with swine flu. He caught it while on holiday with his pals in Ibiza but it's no worse than Paul Burns and he's just been told to rest and stay at home until the weekend.
"The 'mystery striker' I mentioned last week has certainly got the fans going. I was informed this afternoon that we'd just signed a player from St Johnstone for £60,000. I wish!"
